As the sole producer at Lafant, Lucien has 7+ years of experience producing music on both Logic Pro X and Ableton. Additionally, Lucien has experience in songwriting and playing guitar, bass, piano and drum programming. Lucien has experience in live music; touring Aotearoa, writing and performing with his indie band, Steezy's Touch.
Working collaboratively is Lucien's jam. Bouncing ideas back and forth is what drives Lucien's work, especially during those creative pin-drop moments.
Drawing from the sounds of Bon Iver, Olivia Dean, Dijon, Dominic Fike and quickly, quickly, Lucien has developed a sound that strives to be experimental, organic and clean - with a special focus on a hybridity between organic textures and digital manipulation. With an appreciation for a wide variety of genres, Lucien strives to encapsulate the sound of the artist.
